One year after the first EP launched, the Parisian label La Fête Recording, direct descendant of Imported Recordings, releases a second EP signed Yann Polewka. Already present on our booking agency, Yann joins this time the phonographic adventure of Imported, with this record, Ribouldingue EP, which imposed itself for us as the second obvious release of the label.

Founder of Organisme Texture, Yann Polewka benefits from a very rich electronic music culture, rocked very early by the house waves of Chicago, Detroit and with great French touches. As evidenced by the events he organizes, beyond the music Yann loves the party for the unique experience it provides, for these meetings in unique settings each time.

Yann Polewka has been building for several years his sound touch, a subtle mix of yesterday's disco, today's house and tomorrow's techno. In 2019 "Toute La Vie", released on the excellent English label Roots For Bloom, has capsized more than one dancefloor in France.

Sublabel of Imported which has already seen the release of a first EP, La Fête Recordings wants to be a creative laboratory for the artist put forward with a carte blanche on the music, the title and the label. Just like "Fuif" (Dutch word for party), the title of the first EP signed by the Ghetto Chords, "Ribouldingue" is also the synonym of fiesta, chosen this time by the native of Rennes, Yann Polewka, whose architectural and spiritual inspirations can be found on the label.

THE EP

With this release on La Fête Recording, Yann Polewka wanted to honour a very punchy house that will transport you directly under the palm trees and the summer sun, enough to prolong this summer period so special this year.

Going from a smooth Grover Washington Jr. atmosphere with a jazz/hip hop beat on "UFO" to more dancefloor-scratching sounds like "The Ghetto" or "You got it" and his shattering vocal, Yann reveals the extent of his talents which is not limited to house with this record.

On the second side, we find the track "Dressed Like A Fella" in its original version along with a remix by Ethyène, founder of the french label Moonrise Hill Material, who once again illustrates his own style.
